It is impossible to say one highlight when I enjoyed everyday and every minute of my trip! I would definitely say laying on a giraffe was amazing! Seeing the animals up close was also incredible.
Vet Student – VSC – Veterinary Student Course – 1 June 2017
[divider_line]I had a wonderful experience! I learnt a lot and I hope to visit South Africa again some day. If I cant say it all was a highlight, I would say the immobilization’s could really test what I was taught here and it was great.
Vet Student – VSC – Veterinary Student Course – 1 June 2017
[divider_line]I had an amazing time and learnt a lot. Best experience ever! My highlight, many things! I loved seeing all the animals up close and personal! Working on a rhino was by far the coolest thing I’ve ever done and flying in a helicopter while ‘darting’ was a very close second.
Vet Student – AZVMA – 20 May 2017
[divider_line]Unlike anything I’ve ever experienced!
Vet Student – AZVMA – 20 May 2017
[divider_line]An amazing collaboration and integration of win win for many people on many levels. To coordinate guests, veterinary services, safety, private clients, education and fun is extra ordinary in the uniqueness and multifaceted attentiveness. Being able to have hands on access in a real and important way to wildlife, rhino in particular are very exciting and amazing animals.
Vet – USA Feline Group – 20 April 2017
[divider_line]Experience of a lifetime! Thank you for making this trip wonderful and unforgettable.
Vet – USA Feline Group – 20 April 2017
[divider_line]My husband and I had a fantastic trip with Peter Brothers. We felt like young vet students again. Peter makes sure that no time is ever wasted on his trips. We enjoyed his knowledge and wonderful sense of humour. Would recommend this experience to all other vets. Getting to know Peter – he is an extremely exceptional human being – but also getting to work so closely with the rhino and lioness.
Vet – USA Feline Group – 20 April 2017
[divider_line]This was a well thought out program! The progressive “intensity” each experience allowed us to be prepared for some fairly intense encounters and animal procedures. WELL DONE!!

[divider_line]We were excited & thrilled with our 1st Brothers Safari in 2014 and we leave with the same feelings this time. It’s such a privilege to be involved with a master craftsman and observe the care and commitment he has towards conservation and the care for wildlife.
This is always more than a safari, it’s a lesson in empowering the lives of those who cannot fend for themselves, an exquisite encounter again – Thank you Dr Peter and your staff.
Dr Karen Holm – Wildlife Icons – April 2016
[divider_line]I had a wonderful week with Brothers Safaris. It was absolutely amazing and way above expectations! The accommodation at various lodges was beyond fantastic. I could not have asked for better organization and guides from Brothers Safaris and the reserves we visited. They were all very knowledgeable and eager to share their information. For me as a veterinarian I would say the highlight of the safari was the white rhino immobilization, of course. I was very excited to participate in a much needed procedure to help with conservation of such a wonderful species in need. What an incredible experience, I cannot wait to return to South Africa!
Leon Burger – Virbac Namibia – African Vet Safari – Oct 2015

[divider_line]What an amazing experience, it puts into perspective the greatness of our wonderful country and its unique wildlife within the African bush. It was wonderful to be blessed with the opportunity to experience such a magical closeness with a Rhino. The opportunity to contribute to perhaps a little hope for the future was another highlight. Peter Brothers is such a passionate/knowledgeable wildlife vet who knows how to share these wonderful moments with guests.
Dayle Sinclair – Virbac Product Manager – African Vet Safari – Oct 2015
[divider_line]Definitely a trip that dreams are made from – what an awesome experience to be able to be part of an initiative to protect our Rhino’s and to have shared this experience with a team with such dedication and enthusiasm. I can carry on for the next 6 pages but it was just AWESOME!

Evita den Hartog – VSC – Veterinary Student Course – 6 August 2015
[divider_line]When I saw the itineraries on the website of the university I immediately wanted to sign up and I’m really glad I did it because the past 2 weeks were amazing! They were even better than I expected it to be; even though I was nearly “killed” by a zebra (ha-ha) I loved the work and the excitement that comes with it. I learned so many things (what I never would have thought of) I enjoyed the sightings during the game drives and the darting! The staff is amazing, friendly and funny! Thank you for everything. And last but not least Peter Brothers, I think you are great at teaching and handling all these students and all the other things you have to think about, so also many many thanks for these great 2 weeks and keeping us safe.
Molly Jordan – VSC – Veterinary Student Course – 10 July 2015

[divider_line]Thank ya’ll for such an amazing and enriching experience. I can honestly say this is the best trip/adventure so far in my life. Experiencing this aspect of veterinary medicine so upfront has been refreshing and encouraging. It was encouraging in the sense that I was reminded of all the avenues veterinarians have available for a career. Thank you for challenging me and thank you for the most memorable experience!
Emily Moore – AAEC – Arizona Agribusiness & Equine Centre High School – Tailor made African Vet Safari Education trip – 31 May 2015
[divider_line]This was truly a once in a lifetime experience! The most memorable would have to be my birthday: Rhino & Eland knockdowns, followed by paintballing from a helicopter! Amazing! I appreciate how well organised everything was for our group and the excellent service we received from the staff of the Lodge – they went out of their way to make it a home away from home. Thank you so much for this awesome adventure & your South African hospitality. Absolutely unforgettable!
Cait Glaze – AAEC-EM – Arizona Agribusiness & Equine Centre High School – 31 May 2015

Having this amazing opportunity to meet these people and do everything I have been able to do has been nothing short of life changing. Everyone has been so welcoming and willing to teach. Working so closely with these animals has not only further solidified my desire and dream to become a vet but it has opened my eyes to a whole new field. [divider_line]Everyday was a new adventure!!! Unforgettable experience! To experience the beautiful wild game and surroundings were really incredible. Enjoyed having the opportunity to dart and do vet work with zebra’s and rhino’s were the highlight for me. The education on wild game conservation with the ecology was an eye opening experience. Hope I can be an ambassador for conservation the rest of my life and to teach others that message!!

[divider_line]I first want to say how wonderful this week has been. You exceeded my expectations! This once in a lifetime experience has now been my career highlight. Joni Leigh – Veterinary Technician – Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, AVS Immobilisation Safaris, 24 May 2014
Where to begin… Not knowing what to expect and being the only layperson in Dr Dean Rice’s group. I am amazed by this trip and all that took place, the only thing I can say is that it was a lifetime experience and completely “over the top!” You gave us all the option of how to participate – not being in the industry – you still made me feel comfortable with helping where ever possible. I even got to chip the baby rhino and Gavin let me keep the syringe! Thanks for the memories! Til next time…!
Pam Cohen– Marketing – Arizona, AVS Immobilisation Safaris – 24 May 2014

[divider_line]These have literally been the best 2 weeks of my life. The knowledge and most importantly, the confidence in that knowledge is amazing. Not only was this the best experience abroad, but also the most fun I’ve had in a summer course, while learning so much! Everything about the course will help me be a better veterinarian.
